Previous Members (from the old website): You should have already received a password to the e-mail address you entered when you signed up for either the Newsgroup and/or the Newsletter at the old website. Click on Member Info & Login under Our Community in the lefthand column menu. Then enter your e-mail address (the one the password was sent to) and the password. You will now have access to various secured areas of the website depending on what you signed up for: Newsgroup and/or Newsletter. Everyone who is a member of the Newsgroup is also automatically a member of Personal Web Pages. Personal Web Pages allows you to set up your own web page at Birthmarks.com, and also look at other members pages (if they have made them available for viewing).

New Members: It is easy to become a member of Birthmarks.com and subscribe to our on-line publications. In the lefthand column of this web page, in the input field that says "Your E-mail Address", enter the e-mail address you want us to use to communicate with you and click GO. (This e-mail address will also be your login ID.) You will now be taken to our Subscriber Entry Form. Here you can enter some brief information about yourself and to which parts of Birthmarks.com you want to subscribe. Then click Add to finish your account setup.

You can also select whether or not you want to receive additional e-mails from us. Note, we don't send out much in the way of additional e-mail. We will regularly request article contributions to upcoming newsletters, or make you aware of a special sponsor. For example, if the Newsgroup is down, and you are subscribed to it, we might contact you to let you know.
After clicking Add an e-mail message is sent to the e-mail address you just entered. This message contains your login password along with a link to our login page.
Please allow up to several hours to receive this e-mail. Our server typically sends out this message within 5 minutes, but it may take some time before your mail server delivers this message to you. Please contact the Editor if you haven't received an e-mail after 24 hours. You do NOT need to reply to this e-mail message. Simply login when you are ready.
After logging in, you will be taken to the Members Home Page of the website. To change your account setup options click Edit My Account at the bottom of this page. Here you can change your password and any areas of Birthmarks.com to which you want to subscribe. |
| Changing Your Password and Subscription: Change your password, what you are subscribed to, and even change to a new e-mail address! First, you must login (click Member Login in the left column). After you login, at the bottom of the page click Edit My Account. |
